Fun will include buffet, DJ, dancing, and slide show with tickets available on Reuniondb.com and members of the class of ’69 and ’71 welcome
HALTOM CITY, TX, August 12, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ — When the members of Richland High School‘s Class of 1970 received their diplomas, The Jackson 5’s “The Love You Save” and The Beatles’ “The Long and Winding Road” were at the top of the music charts.
Getting the Class of 1970 back together for its 50th has also been a little bit of a winding road. “We’ve had the agenda set, but we had to put it off for a year because of the pandemic,” said Vickie Pacek (Hinkle), the principal organizer of the event.
“We’ve already sold quite a few tickets and expect an excellent turnout for our 50th reunion reboot, especially since we’ve also invited members of the classes of 1969 and 1971, as we always do,” noted Pacek.
“It’s going to be great fun to catch up with friends, do some reminiscing and tell some stories on one another,” said Pacek.
The event will have a buffet dinner, a DJ, a professional photographer, dancing, and a slide show with Class of ’70 highlights from way back when. The reunion will be from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on October 9, 2021, at the Haltom Theatre at 5601 East Belknap Street in Haltom City.
Tickets are $70 per person and are available through the www.reuniondb.com for members of the class of 1970 who were in the yearbook. If you weren’t in the yearbook or are from class of ’69 or ’71, please email [email protected]. Vickie will add you to the database so you can order your tickets through Responding-To-a-Reunion-Invite tab on the homepage and opening the track tab to the right on the profile page.
To get additional reunion details as they become available, join the RHS 1970 – NRH, TX Facebook group.
“Recent events have made these reunions and the connections they renew even more important, so please get your tickets and be there for what is going to be our best reunion yet,” added Pacek.
